Applying to Oregon State
Admissions Pathways
OSU accepts transfer admission applications throughout the academic year, however, each term has different admissions deadlines, so be sure to check and submit all of your required documents before the deadline of the term you wish to apply. To be considered for certain institutional scholarships, you must submit your admission application and required supporting documents by a specific date, so please do check all important deadlines.
Traditional Transfer Pathway
- Apply early and know the deadlines of each application term. (Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer) Complete your application online and be sure to save your progress.
- You WILL be required to turn in transcripts from all institutions attended (even if those courses show up as transfer credit on another transcript).
- Your application will not be reviewed until all required components are turned in so it’s important to check your Beaver Basecamp portal.
- Once your application is complete, it will be reviewed by multiple staff members. It usually takes a few weeks to receive a decision. Timing on a decision can vary depending on the time of year.
- Fall applicants (only) are automatically reviewed for Admissions-based scholarships like WUE and the Provost’s Scholarship at the time their admissions decision is made. Winter, Spring, and Summer applicants are not reviewed for these scholarships at this time.
Degree Partnership Program Pathway
Oregon State University participates in the Degree Partnership Program with community colleges in Oregon and Hawaii. The program allows dual enrollment at both Oregon State and partner community colleges. The application process for prospective Degree Partnership Program students is slightly different, depending on where you are in your academic career.
